Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: September 18, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern mobile automotive diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services provided by Pasquales Mobile Mechanic. Requesting an appointment, authorizing work, or accepting service means you agree to the terms below.
1. Mobile Service and Suitable Work Locations
Pasquales Mobile Mechanic performs automotive work at customer locations when the vehicle, requested service, weather, available workspace, property rules, and surrounding conditions allow the work to be performed safely and properly.
Some repairs require a lift, alignment equipment, machining, extensive disassembly, controlled shop conditions, or other resources that are not practical for mobile service. We may decline, stop, or recommend shop-based service when a job or location is not suitable for mobile repair.
2. Diagnostics and Trouble Codes
Vehicle diagnosis involves testing and evaluating symptoms, warning lights, electrical or mechanical faults, and other conditions to determine their cause. A diagnostic appointment does not guarantee that every problem can be identified during one visit. Intermittent faults and complex problems may require additional testing, disassembly, time, equipment, or operating conditions.
Diagnostic trouble codes are clues used during testing; they do not automatically prove that the component named by a code has failed. Additional testing may be needed before a repair recommendation can be made.
Diagnostic charges cover the technician's time, testing, equipment, and knowledge. Unless specifically stated otherwise, diagnostic charges are separate from service-call fees, parts, labor, and later repairs.
3. Customer-Requested Repairs Without Diagnosis
If you instruct us to replace a specific part without diagnostic testing, or choose replacement after diagnosis has been recommended, you accept the risk that the requested part may not correct the symptom. If further testing or repairs are then required, additional charges may apply.
4. Estimates, Additional Work, and Authorization
When reasonably possible, anticipated charges will be communicated before additional repair work is performed. Estimates are based on the information and vehicle condition known when they are prepared. Testing, disassembly, or repair may reveal additional problems that could not reasonably be identified beforehand.
When additional parts or labor are needed, further authorization may be requested. Authorization may be given verbally, electronically, by text message, or through another mutually accepted method.
5. Parts, Materials, and Parts Availability
Replacement parts differ by manufacturer, quality level, price, availability, and warranty. When we supply a part, the amount charged may reflect locating, obtaining, transporting, handling, and supplying the part in addition to its purchase cost. A particular brand or manufacturer cannot always be guaranteed.
6. Customer-Supplied Parts
We may accept or decline installation of customer-supplied parts. When accepted, the customer is responsible for providing the correct, complete, undamaged, and compatible part. Extra labor or service charges may result if a supplied part is incorrect, defective, incomplete, damaged, or does not fit.
Pasquales Mobile Mechanic does not provide a warranty on customer-supplied parts and is not responsible for their quality, durability, compatibility, performance, or manufacturer warranty.
7. Vehicle Access and Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide lawful and reasonable access to the vehicle and enough safe working space for the requested service. Work may be declined or discontinued because of traffic hazards, unstable ground, inadequate lighting or space, severe weather, property restrictions, or other unsafe or unsuitable conditions.
Please provide accurate vehicle information when requested, including year, make, model, engine, VIN, symptoms, modifications, prior repairs, and other facts relevant to the job. Incorrect or incomplete information can cause delays, incorrect parts orders, additional testing, labor, or charges.
8. Existing Conditions, Previous Repairs, and Modifications
A vehicle may have mechanical, electrical, structural, cosmetic, or other conditions unrelated to the work requested. Automotive systems can also have multiple failures that produce overlapping symptoms.
Previous repairs, aftermarket modifications, damaged wiring, non-original components, corrosion, missing hardware, and improper installations can complicate diagnosis and repair. Additional time, parts, or procedures may be necessary when these conditions are encountered. We are responsible for the work authorized and performed by us, not unrelated pre-existing conditions or defects caused by prior work, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
9. Rusted, Seized, Brittle, or Damaged Components
Age, mileage, heat, corrosion, environmental exposure, previous work, and normal wear can weaken fasteners, fittings, connectors, hoses, lines, brackets, and other components. During reasonable service procedures, a deteriorated or seized component may strip, crack, break, crumble, separate, or otherwise become unusable while being loosened, disconnected, tested, removed, or accessed.
Additional extraction, drilling, labor, parts, or repair procedures may be required. Pasquales Mobile Mechanic is not responsible for failure caused by a pre-existing condition, corrosion, deterioration, previous damage, improper installation, or ordinary wear except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded. When reasonably possible, authorization will be requested before chargeable additional work is performed.
10. On-Site Repair Is Not Guaranteed
An appointment for mobile service does not guarantee that the vehicle can be completely diagnosed or repaired where it is located. If the vehicle ultimately requires towing or a repair facility, charges for mobile diagnostic or repair work already performed remain due unless expressly waived.
11. Roadside, Parking-Lot, Workplace, and Private-Property Service
Mobile service at roadsides, parking lots, apartment communities, businesses, workplaces, and other properties is subject to safety requirements and property rules. The customer is responsible for obtaining any permission required to have automotive work performed at the location.
We may refuse or stop work where automotive repair is prohibited or where the location becomes unsafe or unsuitable.
12. Scheduling, Arrival Times, Cancellations, and Missed Appointments
Mobile-service arrival times can be affected by traffic, weather, earlier repairs, parts availability, emergencies, and unexpected vehicle conditions. An estimated arrival time is not a guarantee of arrival at an exact minute unless specifically agreed otherwise.
Customers should provide accurate contact information, be reasonably available when access or authorization is needed, and give reasonable notice when rescheduling or canceling. A cancellation or missed-appointment charge may apply when travel has begun, the technician has arrived, parts were obtained for the appointment, or substantial appointment time was reserved.
13. Service-Call Fees
A service-call fee may apply when we travel to a customer's location. Unless expressly stated otherwise, this fee is separate from diagnostic charges, labor, parts, materials, and other repair costs. The amount may vary based on travel, location, requested service, and appointment circumstances.
We may reduce or waive a service-call fee at our discretion. A reduction or waiver on one visit does not create an obligation to do so on another visit.
14. Payment
Payment is due when the authorized diagnostic or repair service is completed unless another arrangement was expressly approved in advance. Customers are responsible for authorized service calls, diagnostic time, labor, parts, materials, and other agreed charges. An authorized diagnostic or service-call charge remains due if the customer decides not to proceed with a recommended repair unless that charge is expressly waived.
Pasquales Mobile Mechanic accepts major credit cards, subject to transaction approval and payment-processing availability. Personal and business checks may be accepted at our discretion. We may decline a particular payment method and require another acceptable method when reasonably necessary. Acceptance of a payment method on one occasion does not require its acceptance in the future.
15. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
To the extent permitted by law, we may decline, cancel, or discontinue service because of unsafe working conditions, property restrictions, threatening or abusive conduct, interference with the work, inaccurate or misleading information, inability to obtain authorization, payment concerns, unsuitable vehicle conditions, unavailable tools or parts, or a determination that the requested work is not appropriate for mobile service.
Nothing in these Terms permits refusal of service for a reason prohibited by applicable law.
16. Test Drives and Vehicle Operation
When reasonably necessary to diagnose a problem, complete a repair, or verify repair results, authorization to service the vehicle includes permission for Pasquales Mobile Mechanic to start, operate, move, and test-drive it. A test drive will only be performed when the vehicle can reasonably and safely be operated.
The customer must disclose any known condition that could make starting, moving, or driving the vehicle unsafe.
17. Safety-Related Findings
If testing or inspection identifies a condition that may affect safe vehicle operation, you may be advised not to drive the vehicle until appropriate repairs are completed. If a customer chooses to operate a vehicle after receiving such a warning, that decision is the customer's responsibility.
Service to a particular component or system is not a certification or guarantee of the safety or roadworthiness of the entire vehicle.
18. Repair Results and Multiple Vehicle Problems
Authorized repairs are intended to address the diagnosed condition covered by that repair. Repairing one component does not guarantee that another component or system will not fail later. Older, high-mileage, modified, damaged, or poorly maintained vehicles may have multiple conditions that create similar symptoms, and additional diagnosis or repair may be required.
19. Repair and Parts Warranties
Any warranty applying to a particular repair, labor service, or replacement part is governed by the terms communicated for that job and, where applicable, the part manufacturer's warranty. Manufacturer warranties remain subject to the manufacturer's own terms, exclusions, and procedures.
No additional warranty should be inferred unless a specific warranty is expressly provided. Customer-supplied parts are not warranted by Pasquales Mobile Mechanic. Nothing here limits a warranty or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Scope of Authorized Work
Our responsibility is limited to the automotive work the customer authorizes. Diagnosing, inspecting, maintaining, or repairing one system does not mean the entire vehicle has received a comprehensive inspection or has been certified as free of other problems unless a comprehensive inspection was specifically requested and agreed upon.
21. Personal Property
Please remove valuables and unsecured personal belongings from the vehicle and surrounding work area before service. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property left in or around the vehicle unless directly caused by our actions and responsibility cannot lawfully be limited.
22. Florida Motor Vehicle Repair License and A/C Certification
Pasquales Mobile Mechanic operates under Florida motor vehicle repair license MV116996. A/C service is performed by an EPA Section 609 Certified A/C Technician when Section 609 certification is required for the work being performed.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions as our services, policies, payment practices, or business operations change. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the version in effect when service is requested governs that service. The current version is identified by the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
